Labor Edward Lazarus has an article in Findlaw/Writ about why the players are right in the baseball negotiations, and thus why a work stoppage would be the owners' fault.
UPDATE: More labor news here. Did you know that the Radio City Rockettes are organized? Read this article and you'll see that collective action definitely worked for them; if they had no union, they'd have been SOL (which, in this context, does not mean "statute of limitations").
